Church Extension Fund is a unique ministry that provides capital funding and financial services to congregations, schools, and missions of the California-Nevada-Hawaii District of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
CEF provides funds for the purchase of property and the construction and expansion of facilities for congregations and schools throughout the District. Funding for these projects comes through investments in CEF made by members of District congregations.
What makes Church Extension Fund unique is the double benefit gained in a CEF investment. CEF investors receive a reasonable rate of return on their investment. At the same time, they receive the satisfaction of knowing their investment is being used to equip schools and congregations with an effective tool for worship, education, fellowship, witness and service to its members and surrounding community.
You are encouraged to browse through this site to learn about the mission and ministry of CEF. Should you have any questions please contact your congregation's volunteer CEF Representative, or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Our charter limits investment to members affiliated with The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and loans are made only to CNH District member congregations and ministries.
Improved Investment Statements Now AvailableQuarterly INVESTMENT STATEMENTS have been redesigned and are now available online for your convenience. As part of our ongoing efforts to best support CEF's investors, quarterly statements have been completely reworked to be easier to read and to better consolidate reports for investors with multiple accounts. You also now have an option to sign up to view and print your statements through a secure Internet site rather than receiving statements by mail. Statements for the second quarter of 2010, with the current edition of The Greater Return, are being mailed and should be delivered shortly. This mailing includes a flier describing how to sign up for paperless statements and/or view your statements online. Use the "document code" found on your statement to set up a secure user account at https://cnhcef.mysecurebill.com Registration involves supplying a valid email address and establishing an account password. From this account you may view and print statements and set a preference to "opt in" or "opt out" of future printed statements. For assistance, please call Dave Nunley toll-free at the CEF office, 866 452-6739. He can help set up your user account and answer questions on how the program works.
