Our Mission

To further Christ's mission, CEF links the District and its people

to provide capital funding and other financial services

 

The Church Extension Fund provides investors with a competitive return on their invested savings while, at the same time, providing a sense of satisfaction in knowing that their investment is used to support Christ's mission.  Started in 1889 with a gift of $7,000, CEF's assets have grown from 3 million in 1983 to over 64 million today.

 

    Investors are limited to members affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

 Loans are made only to CA-NV-HI District member congregations and ministries.
